PSG star Aminata Diallo arrested for assault on her teammate

Aminata Diallo a French midfielder for PSG has been arrested for a planned attack on her teammate by French Police.

Diallo, who is 26 years old, and has seven caps for France, joined PSG in 2016 and has appeared in over 60 games for the club. Last season, she was on loan at Atletico Madrid., was apprehended on Wednesday morning. PSG’s 4-0 triumph over Real Madrid in the Women’s Champions League on Tuesday featured the France international.
The club announced in a statement that they were collaborating with the police to “shine light on the facts.”
In addition to strongly denouncing “the brutality perpetrated,” the club stated that after the attack, they have “taken all necessary precautions to ensure the health, well-being, and safety of players.”

According to reports in France, one of the players who was assaulted was Kheira Hamraoui, who was allegedly dragged out of her car by two masked men who battered her legs. Diallo was allegedly present in the car when her PSG teammate was taken out and attacked, according to the article.


Hamraoui, who joined the club from Barcelona this summer, did not play in Tuesday’s match against Real Madrid. On October 31, she made her last appearance, starting alongside Diallo in a 3-0 league win over Dijon.
