The football world was abuzz with rumors that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has shortlisted Jose Mourinho as their next managerial target. This comes as the club looks to part ways with their current manager Christophe Galtier at the end of the season.
Mourinho, who is currently at Roma after being sacked by Tottenham Hotspur in April 2021, is no stranger to top-level football management. The Portuguese coach has a wealth of experience managing some of the biggest clubs in Europe, including Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United, and Inter Milan.
Mourinho has a reputation for being a disciplinarian and a tactical mastermind. His teams are known for their defensive solidity and their ability to grind out results even in the toughest of situations. PSG, who have been knocked out of the Champions League at the semi-final stage in each of the last three seasons, could benefit from Mourinho’s tactical acumen and his ability to get the best out of his players. However, some football pundits have questioned whether Mourinho would be the right fit for PSG.
