PSG sack Christophe Galtier as they find an ideal replacement

Paris saint Germain is said to have find a suitable manager for next season.

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has decided to part ways with Christophe Galtier as their manager. However, the French giants wasted no time in finding an ideal replacement in the form of Julian Nagelsmann. The highly regarded German coach, who was recently sacked by Bayern Munich, is now could take over the managerial position at PSG.

Galtier’s tenure at PSG was relatively short-lived, having taken charge just a year ago. Despite guiding the team to a first place finish in Ligue 1, and a domestic cup victory, the club’s hierarchy deemed it necessary to make a change. The decision to part ways with Galtier came as a surprise to many, given his relatively successful stint at Lille, where he led the team to the Ligue 1 title in the 2020-2021 season.

PSG wasted no time in identifying their preferred replacement for Galtier, and all eyes turned to Julian Nagelsmann. The 34-year-old German manager has already earned a reputation as one of the brightest coaching talents in world football. After impressive spells at Hoffenheim and RB Leipzig, Nagelsmann took charge of Bayern Munich in the 2021-2022 season. Despite guiding the team to a domestic cup triumph, Bayern’s board decided to part ways with him, citing a lack of success in the UEFA Champions League.
