Premier League: Jurgen Klopp is not afraid of being fired despite being under pressure at Liverpool

Since winning against Manchester United, Liverpool has lost three consecutive games.

Jurgen Klopp claims he is unafraid of losing his job. However, he admits struggling Liverpool must deliver as he prepares his team to face manager-less Chelsea after Graham Potter’s weekend sacking. At his pre-match press conference on 3rd April 2023, Klopp said, “the elephant in the room is probably from your point of view why I am still sitting here in this crazy world? The last man is standing. I cannot explain that, to be honest. I am aware I am sitting here because of the past, not because of what we did this season. If it were my first season, it would be different. Yes, we have intelligent owners who know about the situation, but to be 100% truthful, you should ask them why that is the case.

There is no need to be afraid. I am here to deliver. I am not here as a talisman or for murals on house walls. I am here to give. Despite what has happened in the last few years, I am still here. Having to rely on that is not something I like. Is it right or not? We will see that in the future, but I am fully in; there is no doubt about it, but we must sort it out.”
