Guardiola statement ended weeks of rumors and uncertainty. Recent reports had suggested that De Bruyne was set to join Saudi Arabian club Al Ittihad, but Guardiola dismissed these claims as baseless.
There are no negotiations with Al Ittihad. Guardiola clarified everything which was a good news for the fans. With this statement from the City boss will undoubtedly be a relief to other City players as well, who consider De Bruyne an crucial part of the team.
