Official: Spurs seek clarification from FIFA over Fabio Paratici’s extended ban

Fabio Paratici was among former Juventus executives who had received lengthy bans.

Fabio Paratici will have to step down as Tottenham’s managing director of football as Fifa extended a worldwide ban imposed on him in Italy after his former club Juventus was found guilty of false accounting.

Juventus docked 15 league points in January for a long-running investigation. Paratici, who joined Spurs in 2021, was among former Juventus executives receiving lengthy bans. This was after a hearing at the federal court of appeal. Juventus and Paratici have appealed against the decision. Juventus has denied wrongdoing.
