Manolo Marquez will leave his position as head coach of Hyderabad FC at the end of the 2022-23 season. As part of his decision to depart, the Spanish coach, who led Hyderabad to a historic ISL title in 2021-22 and a semifinal appearance this season, informed the club in advance. Nevertheless, Marquez will remain in charge of the team until the end of the season. This includes the upcoming Super Cup and the continental playoffs.

Varun Tripuraneni, the owner of Hyderabad FC, said, “It’s been three incredible seasons for the club under Manolo. On behalf of everyone at HFC, I thank Manolo for his immense contribution, putting the club among the most impressive in the League.” “Manolo informed us of his decision to leave at the beginning of February to give us adequate time to find a suitable replacement. This shows his respect for the club,” he added.
In response to his decision, Marquez said, “I have enjoyed three remarkable and extraordinary seasons with Hyderabad, and I thank everyone at the club.” However, the season has not yet come to an end. We need to compete and win the Super Cup, which is a significant competition.
