Official: Liverpool confirms Cody Gakpo’s signing

Liverpool FC have officially signed Cody Gakpo on Wednesday night, 28th December.

Liverpool FC have announced their new player named Cody Gakpo who they sign from PSV Eindhoven. The Dutch star was a main target for Liverpool FC in the forward position.

Some of the Liverpool’s forward players named Luiz Diaz and Diogo Jota got injured and thus they were searching for a forward player for a long time. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp wanted Cody as he saw his performance in the FIFA World Cup and also some of his performance in the Dutch league.


Cody Gakpo has got No. 18 shirt in Liverpool FC and he is very happy to be a part of the club as he himself said this in his first interview with Liverpool FC.

“It was really hectic because it went really fast with Liverpool… and it was Christmas! Crazy! Everyone I know texted me,” said Cody Gakpo after being Liverpool player as reported by Fabrizio Romano via his official Twitter handle.

Jurgen Klopp is also very happy to get his player and feels the Dutch forward has a great potential to be one of the best in the Premier League.
