Paris saint Germain have finally signed the player they wanted since the start of the summer transfer window named João Neves from Benfica. There was some valuation issue which was resolved later on. The player agreed to the terms of the Ligue 1 club way before the agreement reached between the clubs. The deal is of five-year which means the player will stay at the club until June 2029.
PSG have successfully brought João Neves from Benfica, a player they had targeted for the long time. The French champions faced several hurdles in their purchase, most notably a valuation disagreement with Benfica. However, after weeks of negotiation, both clubs reached a consensus that allowed the transfer to proceed.
João Neves had already agreed to personal terms with PSG long before the two clubs finalized the deal, showing his eagerness to join the Ligue 1 giants. The agreement sees the 19-year-old Portuguese midfielder commit to a five-year contract with PSG, keeping him at the Parc des Princes until June 2029.
Neves’ arrival is expected to strengthen PSG’s midfield options, adding depth and versatility to their squad as they aim to dominate domestically and in Europe.
