Dony Van de Beek has completed his move from Ajax to Manchester Untied for a fee around 39 million euros plus 5 million euros in add-ons.
The Dutch Midfielder was the part of the famous Ajax team who beat Real Madrid in the 2018/19 season scoring 4 goals at Bernabeu and winning the tie 3-5 over the two legs, the youngster this summer was under Manchester Untied’s radar and the club have finally managed to land the player at Old Trafford after the transfer with Ajax, the youngster has signed a contract for five year which could also be extended. This signing boosts Manu’s midfield further with already having the likes of Bruno Fernandez and Paul Pogba.
“I cannot begin to explain how incredible an opportunity it is to join a club with such an amazing history,” Van De Beek said. “Everyone has told me how amazing the Old Trafford atmosphere is and I am looking forward to experiencing that, once it is safe for the fans to return.”
The Red Devil’s are said to be more and more active in the market as they are also in a long pursuit for winger Jadon Sancho from Dortmund and the price tag of 100 million plus has been the obstacle for United to land the player at Old Trafford, the German club is firm on the asking price and has said he won’t be for sale unless the asking fee for the player has been paid.
