Arsenal have officially announced the signing of Raheem Sterling who they have signed on loan from Chelsea. New Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca already confirmed that he isn’t thinking about Sterling in his squad and thus he decided to left the club. “Trust me, you’re about to see the best of me,” says Raheem Sterling after the deal made official by the club.
The deal comes as a surprise to many, given Sterling’s stature in the game and his association with Chelsea. However, with the arrival of new Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca, changes were expected in the squad, and Sterling’s departure has been one of them.
Maresca, who took over the managerial role at Stamford Bridge this summer, has been clear about his plans for the club. It seems this clear talks made the way for Sterling’s move to North London, where Arsenal will be looking to capitalize on his experience and attacking prowess.
Sterling, a seasoned Premier League forward with a wealth of experience at both Manchester City and Chelsea, expressed his enthusiasm about the move to Arsenal.
