Official: Alessandro Florenzi joins AC Milan on loan from Roma

The Italian full-back, Alessandro Florenzi has agreed to join Ac Milan on a season-long loan from Roma with an option to buy. AC Milan confirmed the signing of the new Right-back, Florenzi on Saturday.

AC Milan has completed the signing of the Italian Full back Alessandro Florenzi from Roma on an initial loan deal. Although Florenzi joined the Serie A side on loan there is a clause in the deal which says, AC Milan can buy the player once he completed his loan spell at the club. AC Milan will have to pay €5 million to AS Roma FC if they wish to sign the player after Florenzi’s loan spell.

Alessandro Florenzi is an Italian Right back who has also won the UEFA Euro 2020 this year with the Italy national team. The full-back was included in the Italian squad by Roberto Mancini, Italy National Football team manager. He also played in the final match of the Euro Cup 2020 against England. Florenzi came on from the bench replacing Emerson Palmieri in the second half of the game.

Florenzi is a very intelligent and tactical right-back who was an Important first-team player for AS Roma FC all these years. But it seemed, the new manager of AS Roma, Jose Mourinho didn’t find the Italian right-back suitable for his new season’s plan. Thus, he sends him on loan to AC Milan with an option to buy.

Alessandro Florenzi will wear the number 25 shirt at San Siro (AC Milan home Stadium) as announced by the club. AC Milan fans are hoping to see their new right-back playing for them in Milan’s next match against Sampdoria in Serie A.
