The January transfer window is now wide open and the top teams are searching for the players to get on top of the points table. Newcastle United who are on third position in the Premier League points table are looking for a new forward in this transfer window.
Memphis Depay plays as a forward for the La Liga giants FC Barcelona. The Dutch forward is not in form and not getting enough game time in the Spanish side. The Dutch forward has played very less number of games for Barcelona this season. Barcelona’s manager Xavi Hernandez has his team and he feels he doesn’t need Depay. Depay is not the kind of player Xavi wants as per multiple reports.
Newcastle United signed a striker in the Summer transfer window named Alexander Isak who played some games for them before getting an injury. He is expected to return very soon as said by the manager Eddie Howe but he still wants a forward who can attack from the left side. As per reports, Memphis Depay is one of the options Newcastle looking to explore this transfer window.
