Newcastle United, one of the most historic and popular football clubs in the UK, is reportedly considering making a move to sign Scott McTominay in the summer of 2023. McTominay, a versatile midfielder, has been a consistent performer for Manchester United over the past few seasons and is widely regarded as one of the most promising talents in English football.
Newcastle United’s interest in McTominay is not surprising, given the club’s desire to strengthen their midfield options. Despite some promising performances this season, Newcastle have struggled for consistency in the middle of the park, with injuries and lack of depth often hampering their progress. McTominay would add some much-needed quality and depth to Newcastle’s midfield, providing an ideal partner for the likes of longstaff, Isaac Hayden and Joe Willock.
However, signing McTominay would not be an easy task for Newcastle.
