Antonio Rudiger is close to signing a contract for Spanish football giants Real Madrid and his official announcement will be done as the 2021-22 season ends. The German player will sign the agreement with the club until 2026.
Italian journalist and football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that all the formalities between the 29-year-old player from Germany and Los Blancos are completed. “The deal had been completed, club sources confirm: he will play for Real Madrid,” wrote Fabrizio. He further stated, “Contract until 2026, there’s no option for a further season. Official announcement: end of the season.”
Rudiger is a professional footballer that plays for German National Team and is a centre-back for Premier League side Chelsea. It was confirmed by the reigning Champions League winner’s manager Thomas Tuchel that Rudiger will no longer stay in Chelsea after the season ends in 2022. The German joined the Blues in the year 2017, on July 9 for a reported initial fee of £29 million for five years and he wore the No. 2 jersey. No. 2, Rudiger debuted for the club one month later of his joint date, in August as a substitute for Marco Alonso at the FA Community Shield where his side lost 4-1 to London club Arsenal on penalties.
