Tanguy Ndombele is ready to part ways with Tottenham Hotspur as both the club and player are prepared to terminate the contract, reported by none other than Fabrizio Romano. The French midfielder, who joined Spurs in 2019 from Olympique Lyonnais for a then-club record fee, has experienced a decent tenure in North London.
Ndombele’s time at Tottenham was full of inconsistency and spikes of brilliance that ultimately failed to secure him a permanent place in the starting lineup. Despite his potential, Ndombele struggled to adapt to the Premier League’s demands, leading to loan spells at Napoli and Galatasaray.
During his loan at Napoli in the 2022-2023 season, Ndombele played a pivotal role in helping the team secure the Serie A title, their first in over three decades. Also, he won a league title in Super Lig with Galatasaray last season.
