Luka Modric has scored four goals in 24 matches in the La Liga 2022/2023 season. Modric is widely regarded as the best player in Croatian football history. He led the club to a historic second-place finish in the 2018 World Cup before helping them clinch the third spot in Qatar last December. For his spectacular performance for the national team at the World Cup in Russia, he was awarded the competition’s Golden Ball.
