Mohamed Salah signs Liverpool extension, deal till 2025

The Egyptian star has decided to stay with the Merseyside club despite having many rumours about him leaving Liverpool.

The decision has been officially made by Mohamed Salah and Liverpool that the Egyptian forward will be staying at the club by renewing his contract. He has signed a long-term extension with the Merseyside club and the club will be looking forward to seeing him perform at the top level in the coming years.

The deal is set to run till 2025 indicating the future of the Egyptians at the club.  The decision was made on Friday. He is set to receive £350,000 wages per week. That will make him the highest-paid player ever in the history of Liverpool football club. The 30 years recently had won the PFA player of the year award and the FWA Footballer of the year award. He has massively helped Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool side to achieve success in the past 5-6 years.

Salah will be going into his sixth season with Liverpool. Over years with Liverpool, he has managed to win the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, FIFA Club World Cup, EFL Cup and FA Cup. The Egyptian had also got many individual laurels to his name by winning the Premier League golden boot thrice, Premier League player of the year and also winning the African Player of the year award twice. He has been the backbone of Liverpool and the success the club has earned in the past 5-6 years.

Liverpool will be hoping to see Salah perform consistently at the top level for the coming seasons as well. He has been consistently delivering for the club whenever needed and has proved to become one of the legends in the history of Liverpool.
