Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah has reached another milestone with his current club Liverpool FC in the recent Champions League game against Real Madrid. Real Madrid defeated Liverpool in the first leg of the round of 16 tie on Tuesday night, 21st February.
However there was some positives to take for Liverpool in the game as their forward Mohamed Salah became the top-goalscorer for the club in Europe. He scored a goal in the 14th minute which doubled Liverpool’s lead in the game. Salah scored one along with Nunez but that was the last from Liverpool in the game as they were then brutally defeated by Real Madrid.
Madrid scored 5 after this to take advantage before the second leg of the round of 16 tie. With this win, Carlo Ancelotti’s men are now more likely to be in the last 8 of the competition.
