Miguel Almiron grabs Premier League goal of the month award for April

Miguel Almiron joined Newcastle United from Atlanta United in 2019 to play in the Premier League.

The Premier League’s April Goal of the month victor has been released.  In April’s Goal of the Month, the Paraguayan attacker received his debut Premier League monthly prize. Miguel Almiron was the receiver of the award. His match-winning strike versus Crystal Palace secured him the leading berth. Miguel Almiron scored his first goal and a terrific one for Newcastle United vs Crystal Palace and won the Premier League goal of the month for it.

Miguel’s objective currently would be to strike more consistently, given this is his lone Premier League strike in the last fifteen months.  Newcastle United released a formal statement saying: ‘Miguel Almirón’s goal against Crystal Palace has been named April’s Budweiser Premier League goal of the month.’

Newcastle grabbed all three points courtesy of the 28-year-fantastic old’s curling effort, which was aided by April’s PFA fans’ player of the month contender Bruno Guimares, as they moved further step towards retaining their top stance. It sparked dramatic emotions from the 28-year-old, who pulled off his jersey after racing across to the St James’ Park crowd, just like how he netted his first Newcastle strike versus Palace in 2019.

Matty Longstaff, who claimed the accolade in October 2019 for his winning goal versus Manchester United, was perhaps the most recent United player to receive it.
