2020-21 season didn’t go well for Juventus as well as Ronaldo. Portugal lost the Euro 2020 cup against Belgium and Juventus didn’t win the Serie A. For the past nine years, Juventus had total domination in Serie A. But after winning it in nine consecutive years, this year they finished 4th. Ronaldo has his contract expiring in 2022, which means he has only one year left in his contract. Now, that Messi has gone to Paris, it is difficult that the Ligue 1 side will make a move for Ronaldo this summer. However, the transfer window is still open and you never know what could happen. Just like no one would have predicted that Lionel is going to leave Barca at the start of the summer. One of the Ronaldo’s teammates, Leonardo Bonucci, the Italian defender who has recently won the Euro 2020 cup has clearly said that Ronaldo is going to stay at Turin.

“I think Cristiano would have stayed even if Messi did not go to PSG,” Bonucci told Gazetta Dello Sport on Tuesday.

“For us, he is an added value, and I am sure that this year, more so than in past years, he will help us to go far with all our objectives,” he added.

Juventus has also brought their ex-manager back this summer, Massimiliano Allegri, thus there is a positive feeling among the teammates of Ronaldo that he is going to stay at the club.
