One of the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup (2022/23) was played between Manchester United and Charlton FC on Tuesday night, 10th January. Old Trafford fans were happy to see their team going into the last four of the competition as they beat Charlton FC by 3-0 in the quarter-finals.
The first goal was scored by none other than their expensive signing of the summer Antony who curled past the goalkeeper from the right side. His left foot finish from out of the box was enough to give United a deserved lead against Charlton FC in the first half.
After leading by 1-0 till 90 minutes, Rashford came in picture in the additional time. Marcus Rashford scored two before the full-time whistle to give United a victory by 3-0. Marcus Rashford scored his first goal in the 90th minute when winger Facundo Pellistri gave him the final pass. The Uruguayan has his first assist for United this season.
