Manchester United were up against Leeds United again in five days in the Premier League on Sunday, 12th February. The game was played at Elland Road (Leeds United home ground). It was a perfect evening for the Erik ten Hag’s men as they won by 2-0 against Leeds.
Manchester United did play against them 5 days ago where they faced a disappointing draw against them. Now, they got the revenge they wanted. Two second half goals were enough for Manchester United to take three points and occupy the second place in the Premier League. Marcus Rashford scored his 21st goal of the season in all competitions and Garnacho scored the second of the game to put Manchester United ahead by 2 goals.
The winner from Garnacho came minutes before the full-time whistle and Erik ten Hag was the happy man. Manchester United are now 5 points ahead fourth-place Newcastle United and a point ahead of Manchester City who will play Aston Villa later on Sunday.
