Red Devils are reportedly considering a move for Atletico Madrid’s Jan Oblak following some performances from their new signing, Andre Onana. While these reports are yet to be confirmed, they have certainly sparked discussions among fans.
Andre Onana, the Cameroonian shot-stopper, arrived at Old Trafford with high expectations. His impressive time with Ajax and Inter Milan had established him as one of Europe’s promising goalkeepers. However, the transition to the English Premier League has not been as smooth as many had hoped. In six league games played so far, Onana has conceded a troubling ten goals.
This continues poor performances has led to speculations that Manchester United is looking for a reliable alternative to solidify their goalkeeping position. Oblak’s ability to make acrobatic saves is very attractive for Manchester United.
