Manchester United have gone into another semifinals and this time in the FA Cup (2023). Manchester United played against Fulham FC in the quarter-finals of the competition on Sunday night at Old Trafford. The host defeated Fulham by 3-1 to go into the semifinals of the competition.
Manchester United were not too good in the first half and the few minutes of the second half. United were the one who conceded first. Mitrovic gave the lead to the visitors in the 50th minute from a corner. United were behind and they weren’t able to find the net despite creating some good chances.
Later in the half, Sancho who got the ball from Antony in the open space took on the goalkeeper and hit on goal which was stopped by Willian’s hand. Referee gave a penalty after a VAR check and also showed red card to Willian. Not only this, red card was given to Fulham’s manager for arguing with Referee and also their striker Mitrovic who touched the referee in a wrong way.
Manchester United’s midfielder Bruno Fernandes scored from the spot and Sabitzer got his first goal a minute later which puts the host ahead in the game. Just before the full-time’s whistle Manchester United scored their third goal which was Bruno’s second of the game.
