Manchester United who are looking for reinforcements to go up the table are keen to bring a new Left back soon in the club. New manager Rúben Amorim is in desperate need of a LWB as he plays Diogo Dalot in the left-back position which is quite frustrating for him as he is a right-back. Man United have shortlisted three LWB according to Fabrizio Romano. Milos Kerkez and Nuno Mendes were already in their list but now they have added Denmark international player named Patrick Dorgu.
Manchester United’s struggles this season have led new manager Rúben Amorim to seek reinforcements, with the left-back position a top priority. Amorim, known for his tactical flexibility, has been forced to deploy Diogo Dalot, a natural right-back, on the left flank. This makeshift arrangement has been far from ideal, leaving the club desperate for a specialized left-wing back (LWB) to fit Amorim’s system and help the team climb the Premier League table.
According to renowned transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, United have shortlisted three potential targets for the January transfer window. Hungarian talent Milos Kerkez and PSG star Nuno Mendes were already on their radar, but the list now includes promising Denmark international Patrick Dorgu.
Milos Kerkez, currently with Bournemouth, has impressed with his pace and attacking intent, making him a strong candidate for Amorim’s aggressive style. Meanwhile, Nuno Mendes, despite his injury woes, remains a highly sought-after option due to his experience and technical ability at the highest level. Patrick Dorgu, the latest addition, is an exciting prospect.
