Manchester City defeated Bristol City on Tuesday night in the English domestic league named FA Cup. The match was played in Bristol City’s home ground i.e. Ashton Gate. It was a comfortable 3 nil victory for the Premier League defending champions. Pep Guardiola was happy to see his team made it to the quarter-finals of the competition.
Manchester City scored three without a reply in the game and it was a proper definition of domination by the visitors. Bristol City had a very less number of chances and thus their players couldn’t get themselves on the scoresheet.
Manchester City’s first goal came in the 7th minute and it was scored by their star midfielder Phil Foden. Leading the game in the half-time by 1-0 makes them the favourites to win it as well. Foden scored his second in the 74th minute before one of the world’s best midfielders Kevin de Bruyne found the net to secure a 3-0 victory over the host.
