Manchester City is going after Cristiano Ronaldo as they want a new striker this summer. After Harry Kane’s tweet, it is clear that he is going to stay at Spurs, Manchester City is exploring their other options.

Manchester City has been offered to sign the Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo this summer. The Juventus forward seems not happy with his current club. The Portuguese forward has one year left in his contract with Juventus.

Manchester City needs a striker this summer as they have lost Kun Aguero. They were looking to buy the English striker Harry Kane. The deal with the 28-year-old was looking possible as Harry also seemed interested in the deal. City also made a bid of €150 million for the English forward it was denied by Tottenham Hotspur. Later, it was all clear after Harry Kane confirmed on Wednesday that he is going to stay at Tottenham Hotspur this summer. Now, Manchester City is looking at other potential forward options. The Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo is one of them. As the Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Wednesday night that Mendes, Ronaldo’s agent has approached Manchester City as he is looking for options for the Seria A player.

There were also some rumours spreading that Cristiano would join PSG and they are going to approach him, but Fabrizio reported via his Twitter account that PSG is not interested in signing Ronaldo this summer. It is understood that Juventus want €30 million for the Portuguese forward. But there is still no bid from Manchester City with just 5 days left in the summer transfer window to close. Currently, Ronaldo to Manchester City deal is looking difficult, but anything could happen in the last few days of the transfer window.
