In a thrilling encounter last night, Manchester United secured their passage to the fifth round of the FA Cup with a big 4-2 victory over Newport County. The match showcased the attack of the Red Devils, with Bruno Fernandes opening the scoring in the 7th minute, setting the tone for an action-packed contest.
The momentum continued as Mainoo found the back of the net in the 13th minute, further extending Manchester United’s lead. Newport County, however, displayed resilience and managed to claw their way back into the game with goals of their own.
Antony contributed to Manchester United’s success by adding another goal in the 68th minute, keeping the pressure on Newport County. The final goal came in the 90+4th minute, courtesy of Hojlund, securing a convincing victory for the Premier League giants.
