Manchester City drew the first blood as they have defeated their biggest rival this season Arsenal in the FA Cup on Friday night. The game was played at Etihad (Manchester City’s home ground). It was not as thrilling as it was expected by fans but the game was tight.
Mikel Arteta’s men had to move out of the FA Cup as they got a 1-0 defeat. Arsenal couldn’t find the net in the whole game and Man City converted one which takes them to the next stage. Looking at the stats, the game was equal, only the goal was a major difference. Arsenal FC are currently leading the English Premier League’s points table and City are trying hard to overtake them. Fans beleive this could be their first step as it made them think that they can still win the title and go to the top of the Premier League’s points table.
City’s defender Nathan Ake scored a goal in the second half which was enough for them to get into the next round of the FA Cup.
