Man City eliminate Bayern to go into the semifinals of UCL

Manchester City are into the last 4 of the UEFA Champions League after defeating Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals.

Manchester City has advanced to the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League after beating Bayern Munich 4-1 on aggregate in the quarter-finals. The English team managed to secure a 3-0 victory in the first leg, and despite drawing 1-1 in the second leg, they had already done enough to secure their place in the next round.

The first leg saw a dominant performance from Manchester City, with goals. The team controlled the game throughout and limited Bayern Munich’s attacking threats. The second leg was a closer affair, with Bayern Munich putting up a strong fight. However, they were unable to find the net until the 90th minute, when Robert Lewandowski scored a consolation goal.

This victory marks Manchester City’s another appearance in the Champions League semi-finals. The team has been one of the most consistent performers in Europe in recent years, but have fallen short in the knockout stages of the competition. With this victory, they will be hoping to finally break their Champions League curse and reach the final.

Pep Guardiola, Manchester City’s manager, has led his team to this impressive victory over his former team, Bayern Munich. Guardiola won the Champions League twice during his time at Barcelona, and will be hoping to add a third title to his collection with Manchester City.
