
Manchester City has beaten Leeds United in their first Premier League game after the World Cup. The long-break hasn’t have much affect on Manchester City’s players as they are still on fire. Norwegian striker Erling Haaland has reached another milestone in this game.
Haaland becomes the fastest player ever to score 20 Premier League goals in just 14 appearances. He has become the fastest to reach this numbers. The striker is in exceptional form despite him being away from football for 1 and a half months. Erling Haaland wasn’t in the FIFA World Cup 2022 as his country Norway wasn’t qualified for it.
Erling Haaland scored two goals in the second half which came in the 51st and 64th minute of the game. Rodri scored another one for Man City which take their lead to 3-0 before Leeds United’s player named Struijk pulled one back for the host in the 73rd minute.
The game ended with a scoreline of 1-3 to Manchester City. City are now 5 points behind Arsenal in the Premier League table.
