Louis van Gaal has advised Ajax coach Erik ten Hag to choose “a football club, not a commercial club” rather than becoming Manchester United’s future coach.
Ten Hag is deemed as one of the firsts to takeover as Manchester United’s new manager this summer. However, ex-Manchester United coach Van Gaal reckons this would be an unfortunate mistake for the Dutchman, claiming that there have been better clubs for him available around.
“Erik ten Hag is a great coach and that is always good for Manchester United, but Manchester United is a commercial club, which is a difficult choice for a coach,”
Van Gaal claimed so over a press conference on Monday as reported by The Goal. United officials have reportedly recently examined Ten Hag about the likelihood of stepping control at Old Trafford following term, according to GOAL.
