Liverpool have really thrashed Sparta Praha in the round of 16 of UEFA Europa League last night after they scored 6 in the second leg. Liverpool have registered themselves in the quarter-finals of the competition with this victory.
Liverpool won by 6-1 against Sparta Praha in the second leg tie which was played last night at Anfield. Liverpool is in amazing run of form this season, not only in the UEFA Europa League 2023-24 but also in the Premier League. Liverpool currently stands at 2nd position in the PL points table, just below Arsenal who are on same points with them.
Liverpool’s manager Jurgen Klopp who is all set to leave the club at the end of the season is trying his level best to make Liverpool win titles. Liverpool have already won this year’s Carabao Cup and now they are eyeing Europa and Premier League. Jurgen Klopp’s men were brilliant in the second leg. Forwards namely Salah, Nunez, Gakpo, all were on the scoresheet last night.
Gakpo scored twice in the game and Liverpool hit 6 past Sparta Praha. Later on in the first half, the away side did try to make a comeback by scoring but that was the only goal by them in the game.
