Liverpool reach agreement to sign PSV’s forward Cody Gakpo

Liverpool FC have won their first game after World Cup against Aston Villa.

Liverpool FC has two good news on Monday night as they won their first Premier League game after the FIFA World Cup 2022 and they have signed a new forward Cody Gakpo from Dutch league.

PSV’s star forward Cody Gakpo will play for Liverpool FC after the January transfer window opens. Liverpool FC snatched a deal for Cody as the rumours were made of him joining rival club Manchester United. Manchester United was very interested in the player but hasn’t made any initiative in the deal. Liverpool FC reached an agreement on Monday night and it was all agreed from the Dutch’s side.

The Dutch star had three goals in this year’s World Cup and there were so many teams keeping eye on him. Cody Gakpo will have his medical in England later this week as reported by Fabrizio Romano via his Instagram post. Cody Gakpo is all set to sign a long term deal with the Reds (Liverpool FC). The Dutch star will be paid €37 million + add ons by the Premier League side.
