The Liverpool FC have won the game against Wolves in FA Cup third round replay which was played on Tuesday night, 17th January at Molineux Stadium (Wolverhampton Wanderers’home ground). Liverpool FC won their first game in the year 2023. It is been a bad season so far for Jurgen Klopp and his team Liverpool FC.
They were dismissed by Manchester City in the Carabao Cup and also they are on the 9th position in the English Premier League. The road to top 4 for Liverpool FC is looking very far now as the top teams like Man City, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Newcastle United are on a brilliant run of form this season.
Liverpool scored a single goal in the game against Wolves which was enough for them to get them a place in the next round of the competition. Young midfielder Harvey Elliot scored a goal in the 13th minute which was also the match-winner.
Wolverhampton Wanderers did try hard to find the equaliser but Liverpool defenders were successful in stopping them. Now Liverpool FC are in the next round of the FA Cup and is also will be playing Chelsea FC this weekend.
