On Sunday, Jurgen Klopp’s men were in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to play against Antonio Conte’s troops. However, both the teams had to settle for a draw even after having such an exciting game of football. Both the teams were very good on the pitch and energetic as well. It was never easy for Tottenham Hotspur to take all three points against Liverpool as Jurgen Klopp’s men are in great form this season not only in the Premier League but also in the Champions League where they topped their group, winning every group-stage match.
Both the halves were very exciting, and it became more exciting when the host opened the scoring in the 13th minute. It was Tottenham Hotspur’s Striker Harry Kane who scored the first goal of the game with a spectacular finish with his right foot beating Alisson Becker (Liverpool’s goalkeeper) on the far post. Liverpool found the equalizing goal in the 35th minute when Diogo Jota header beats Spurs’ captain Hugo Lloris. It was 1-1 at half-time.

The players were back on the field for the second half and it was the Reds who were dominating the possession and started on the front foot right after the Referee’s whistle. Another heading goal from Liverpool makes them lead against the host but this time it was left-back Andrew Robertson’s head which was behind that goal. Tottenham somehow managed to get stable and pulled another goal in the 74th minute. Son Heung-min scored an open goal after Alisson missed the clearance and his mistake lead to an equalizer for Antonio Conte’s men. Later, Liverpool’s goalscorer Robertson was shown a red card for his bad challenge on Spurs’ right-back Emerson Royal. The Reds were down to 10 men and played for almost 20 minutes with one man down but still, they managed to defend well and didn’t concede any goal.
