Paris Saint-Germain are back to winning ways as they beat Angers FC on Wednesday night in Ligue 1. PSG were at their home and played like the home side as they dominated the possession and the game as well. Angers FC couldn’t match up the pace with PSG and thus ended up on losing side.
PSG’s striker Ekitike scored the first goal of the game which came in just the 5th minute. It was a perfect start for the host in the game. Mukiele made a cross into the box and Ekitike made no mistake in finishing that in the bottom left corner.
After leading 1-0 in the first half, PSG scored their second in the 72nd minute. It was none other than the World Cup winner Lionel Messi who scored his first goal after the FIFA World Cup 2022 final game against France. This was also Messi’s first game after World Cup.
The PSG secured the victory with that Messi’s goal and now they have 47 points in 18 games they played in Ligue 1 so far.
