Lionel Messi & PSG will don GOAT on player’s sleeves next season

Messi has eight goals and 13 assists after entering PSG on a free transfer.

Starting the 2022-23 season onwards, the Argentine’s unofficial nickname will be printed on his team jersey. As the club announces a fresh multi-year collaboration with the next generation lifestyle brand, Lionel Messi and the whole of the Paris Saint-Germain players will pitch with the title GOAT on their sleeves.Β 

GOAT will join as an official partner of PSG until the completion of the season, with their name featuring on the sleeves of practice, warm-up, and game jerseys commencing July 1. The online gateway, which offers luxury garments and accessories on across the primary and secondary channels, has more than 30 million visitors globally and now will acquire even significantly larger exposure as a consequence of its association with the Ligue 1 champions.


PSG would be the inaugural sports club to get its e-commerce storefront on Goat’s platform, showcasing limited merchandise, partnerships, and vintage pieces. This season, the Goat brand will be represented on the sleeves of PSG’s jerseys, including on television, online, and also at the Parc des Princes stadium in Paris.

Messi won countless La Liga and Champions League crowns during his 17-year tenure at Camp Nou that finished after his deal ended last summer and now he’s on route to adding a Ligue 1 title to his portfolio this year.Β  After signing PSG on a free transfer, the 34-year-old possesses eight goals and 13 assists, and now his nickname will be inscribed on his sleeve for the final year of his deal in 2022-23.
