Lionel Messi agrees on a two-year contract with PSG: Fabrizio Romano

Italian football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano tweeted about Messi acceptance for the PSG club on a two-year deal as Messi contract ends for Barcelona after 21yrs. Option to extend until 2024.

Messi is all around the Media after his club Barcelona failed to extend the contract due to financial crisis in the Club. The fans were not able to grasp this sad news as Messi is one of the biggest names in this sport and leaving a club in which he was the poster boy and the highest goal scorer for FC Barcelona it was sad news for the football world.

Rumours were all around that Paris Saint-Germain F.C has offered a contract to Messi. Fabrizio Romano an Italian journalist who is a specialist in football transfers took Twitter to announce the news that Messi is coming to Paris to join the PSG.

“Lionel Messi joins PSG… HERE WE GO! Total agreement completed on a two-year contract. Option to extend until June 2024. Salary around €35m net per season add ons included. Messi has accepted the PSG contract proposal and will be in Paris in the next hours” said the tweet by the Italian transfer expert Fabrizio. 

The Argentine was tearful during his farewell as he never expected to end up his journey for Barcelona like this. Messi has scored 672 goals for Barcelona which is the highest number of goals by a player which helped him to grab 34 trophies along with 6 Ballon d’Or titles which itself speaks a lot about his journey in Barcelona.
