Lewandowski & Xavi to work with same motto-getting trophies for Barcelona

Robert Lewandowski joined Fc Barcelona from Bayern Munich at the age of 33.

Robert Lewandowski was evidently heading to Barcelona, and here it’s confirmed. The side has officially revealed the signing of a Poland forward from Bayern Munich after numerous days of heated discussions. He is retained for 45 million euros plus 5 million in variable costs through June 2025, including one potential year.  A star-studded front that also boasts Ferran Torres, Aubameyang, Raphinha, Dembele, and others will be spearheaded by Lewandowski.

Robert Lewandowski was heading to Munich to practice for a short day, however, the agreement was concluded on Friday, and the Pole waved farewell to his friends at his final practice on Saturday. The erstwhile Borussia Dortmund attacker was a crucial player for Bayern last season, netting 50 strikes in 46 outings and had topped the list of Xavi to target in the transfer window.  Lewandowski spoke to Bild saying, “Xavi told me that we’ll work well together and can achieve a lot. He has a clear plan on how to bring Barcelona back to the top – I’m at Barça for trophies”.

Whilst starring with Bayern, Lewandowski cemented himself as being one of the game’s best forwards, netting 344 strikes in 375 outings. Of them, the Bundesliga produced 238 goals.  Lewandowski, who won the Champions League in the 2019–20 campaign, has won the Bundesliga in each of his eight years with the team.

He also won three German Cups and five German Super Cups while appearing for Bayern Munich. Lewandowski will also exit Germany lasting 12 years, following spending four of those years competing at Borussia Dortmund (2010-2014). In 131 Bundesliga outings for the team, he has 74 goals recorded.
