LeBron James cheers Liverpool as they reach the Champions League final beating Villarreal 2-3 (2-5 on aggregate). Lakers’ James was quick enough to congratulate the club from his official Twitter handle.

Basketball superstar LeBron James made a wise decision by purchasing a minor investment in Liverpool FC. In April 2011, the Los Angeles Lakers forward and his business partner Maverick Carter paid $6.5 million (4.7 million pounds) for a 2 per cent stake in Liverpool as perΒ AS.com. The player wrote, “Paris here we come.”

Liverpool’s official page was also quick to reply to LeBron’s tweet, “Is right @KingJames.”

He also posted a picture of him wearing a Liverpool jersey with the caption, “Mood”.

Liverpool has now reached the final of the UCL for the third time in their last five seasons. They now await the winner between Real Madrid and Manchester City in the final for the battle of title. The two will face each other tomorrow for the second leg at Santiago Bernabeu at 12:30 am IST. The Whites lost their away match against the Premier League winners 4-3.
