LA Galaxy has agreed a deal to sign Marco Reus who has left Borussia Dortmund after the end of the season and became a free agent as decided. The player made a decision to leave Dortmund during the last season and then was searching for other clubs to play for. LA Galaxy showed great interest in the midfielder and now the deal looks imminent. Reus will now travel to US to complete the deal which will see him at the club for one-year (2025) with an option to extend.
Major League Soccer (MLS League), LA Galaxy has reportedly agreed to a deal with German midfielder Marco Reus. The 35-year-old, who recently left Borussia Dortmund after the 2023/2024 season, is set to join the MLS side as a free agent. Reus made the decision to leave Dortmund during the last season, ending an illustrious career at the club where he became a fan favorite and a symbol of loyalty.
Throughout the summer, Reus was linked with several clubs, but it was LA Galaxy that showed the most persistent interest in securing his services. The deal is now imminent, with Reus expected to travel to the United States to finalize the transfer.
The agreement will see Reus don the LA Galaxy jersey for the 2025 season, with the contract including an option to extend for an additional year.
