Kylian Mbappe surpasses Karim Benzema in goals scored for France

France defeated Netherlands by 4-0 in the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

France played their first game of the Euro 2024 qualifiers against Netherlands on Friday night, 24th March. Paris Saint Germain’s forward Kylian Mbappe scored two goals in this game which took his tally of goals for France to 38. Mbappe has surpassed another French striker Karim Benzema in scoring goals for France.

Karim Benzema had 37 goals to his name before he announced his retirement from the international football a few months ago. Kylian Mbappe’s brace help France beat Netherlands in their first game of the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

French national football team scored two goals in the first 10 minutes as forward Antoine Griezmann and Upamecano registered themselves on the scoresheet. Mbappe scored his first goal in the 21st minute and the second one came just before the full-time’s whistle.
