Karim Benzema becomes Real Madrid’s second highest goalscorer surpassing Raul

French striker netted Real Madrid’s second goal to give his team a 2-0 victory.

Karim Benzema is now Real Madrid’s second highest goal scorer who just surpassed club legend, Raul Gonzalez to grab the spot.

In the UEFA Super Cup final last night, the Whites defeated Eintracht Frankfurt with a score of 2-0 thanks to a goal by Benzema. Only Cristiano Ronaldo has scored more goals for Real Madrid than Frenchman at this point.

Benzema, the 4 years old from France, is still going strong and the French striker netted Real Madrid’s second goal to give his team a 2-0 victory.
In the process, Benzema passed Raul, a Real Madrid icon in his own right, to move up to second place on the list of the team’s all-time leading goal scorers.
