A brilliant second-half display from Chelsea sees them beat Burnley 4-0. The Blues stay third, six points ahead of Manchester United with a game in hand. While Burnley fail to move out of the relegation zone after Leeds dropped points at Leicester.

Burnley had the better of the first-half chances, but Chelsea completely turned things around. The win was secured with three goals in the first ten minutes of the second half. Reece James, who missed out almost 10 weeks due to injury, opened the scoring with a brilliant solo goal from a tight angle.

Burnley could not get a hold of the ball as Chelsea pushed again and again to make it 4-0. Kai Havertz, Reece James, and Christian Pulisic each had two-goal contributions. Havertz had two goals to his name, while James and Pulisic each scored and assisted a goal.

Chelsea bounced back after losing the Carabao Cup final to Liverpool and a shaky win over Luton in the 5th round of the FA Cup. This is the Blues’ 3rd consecutive premier league win while Burnley has not won in their past three games.
