German international midfielder Joshua Kimmich is likely to be named as captain of the Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich. Bayern Munich’s manager Julian Nagelsmann is expected to give the responsibility to the midfielder as he feels it is the time now to change the roles of the players.
Bayern Munich’s current captain is goalkeeper Manuel Neuer. Neuer is one of the best goalkeepers in the World and have golden gloves so many times. Nagelsmann feels that the goalkeepeer is in his final stages of his football career and thus he wants to change the roles.
Joshua Kimmich is one of the options likely to be selected by the manager and the board in the coming days. However this is still a rumour and there is no reports behind this. There could be possible that Bayern Munich’s manager Julian Nagelsmann gives the captain’s armband to Kimmich after this season (2022/23).
