Leicester City played their first game of the season against wolves. The game ended 1-0 with Jamie Vardy scoring the goal just before half-time. The foxes were at their home against Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C. The away side came close to the goal many times, but couldn’t find the equalizer against the Foxes. It was a brilliant first-half performance by Leicester City. They were regularly creating chances and seemed better than Wolves throughout the first 45 minutes in the game.

At 41st minute, Ricardo Pereira, the Leicester city right-back gave a beautiful cross with pace to Jamie Vardy and Vardy makes it 1-0 to Leicester. The wolves seemed a better team in the second half as they kept on attacking and keep taking shots on the Leicester goal. However, after taking 17 shots, Wolves only managed to keep 3 shots on target and none of them went behind the net.

At 88th minute, Wolves defender Coady did put the ball in the back of the net and the celebration was about to begin before it was ruled out for offside by VAR. Thus, after the final whistle, the game ended 1-0 to the home side and they start their Premier League campaign with a win, thanks to Jamie Vardy’s first-half goal.
