A 0-0 goalless draw was not what the fans wanted to see as the 11th league of the ISL between Chennaiyin FC and Kerala Blasters which also happens to be the Southern Derby failed to deliver. Although Chennaiyin FC had their fair number of shots (10), only 2 were on target whereas The Tuskers could only manage 1 on target.
The game peaked when The Blasters’ goalkeeper Albino Gomes saved a penalty by diving to his left and getting a hand to Jakub Sylvestr’s spot kick.
A point shared for both teams means Chennaiyin FC are now 3rd whereas Kerala Blasters sit 7th in the league table.
