ISL 2020: NorthEast United go 2nd as they beat SC East Bengal 2-0

NorthEast United are now 2nd in the Indian Super League table after registering a 2-0 win over SC East Bengal. SC East Bengal have still not scored a goal this season and now sit last in the table without a win in 3 games so far.

In the 33rd minute, an own goal from wingback Singh Surchandra cost SC East Bengal a goal, making it 1-0 to NEUFC. East Bengal dominated possession in the second half (71%) but could not make much of it as they only had 1 shot on target.


Rochharzela killed the game and made it 2-0 to NorthEast in the 91st minute. With 3 losses in 3 games, SC East Bengal are the first team in ISL history to lose their first three league games.
